AdvenTour
AdvenTour is an interactive app designed to connect tourists with local attractions and businesses, enhancing the travel experience in Greece. The app serves both players (tourists) and business owners.
For players, AdvenTour offers quizzes that encourage exploration of various destinations. By correctly completing five challenges related to specific attractions they visit, players earn rewards such as discounts at local businesses, making their travels both fun and rewarding.
For business owners, AdvenTour provides a targeted advertising platform where they can attract tourists by offering special deals and discounts. This approach helps businesses increase foot traffic and sales, making the app a valuable tool for promoting local commerce in Greece.

PreviewLogo Design
The AdvenTour logo captures the essence of exploration and fun with a simple but playful design. The "T" in "AdvenTour" is shaped like the handle of a magnifying glass, representing discovery and adventure. Inside the magnifying glass, a warm, bright pink sunset sets behind mountains, evoking the stunning landscapes of Greece. The "T" and the letters "our" are in a fresh turquoise. The rest of the word is in a deep navy blue, grounding the logo with a sense of trust and reliability. The clean, modern Inter font makes the logo approachable and easy to read, reflecting the app's friendly and user-focused experience.
Branding and Visual Identity
The branding of AdvenTour is designed to resonate with both tourists and business owners. For tourists, it offers a fun and rewarding way to explore new places. For business owners, it serves as a platform to drive foot traffic and attract customers. The visual identity features a color palette that emphasizes this dual focus. The letters "Adven" are rendered in deep navy blue using the Inter font, symbolizing trust and reliability. In contrast, "Tour" stands out in a fresh turquoise, with the "T" creatively shaped as the handle of a magnifying glass.

Step 1
Research & User Insights
Research & User Insights
To ensure AdvenTour effectively meets the needs of both tourists and local businesses in Greece, my team and I conducted a survey using Google Forms. We targeted travelers, local guides, cultural experts, and business owners. This feedback was crucial in identifying user preferences and expectations, which directly influenced the app’s design and functionality.
Based on the survey results, we developed key user stories that shaped the app’s user flow:
As a tourist, I want to easily find information about local attractions and activities so that I can plan my visit efficiently.
As a user, I want to participate in interactive quizzes to enhance my understanding and engagement with the destination.
As an explorer, I want to earn rewards or incentives for completing challenges so that I stay motivated to explore more.
As a business owner, I want to attract tourists by offering special deals and promotions through the app to increase foot traffic and sales.
